Jamie Hand

A professional footballer for over 15 years.

Jamie Hand played professional football for over 15 years ranging from the Scottish Premiership to Championship down to the National League gaining over 300 appearances. He also represented England at youth level from Under 15’s up to the Under 20’s.

His role at Select Soccer is to identify talent at the wide range of games he watches.

A tough tackling centre midfielder Jamie made his Debut at 17 years old for Watford in the FA Cup v Arsenal playing against some of the worlds elite. Having worked under some of the best managers and coaches Jamie has an invaluable insight into the game. Upon Jamie’s retirement he scouted for a number of teams and then took up the chief scout role at a professional football club at 31 years old.

Some of Jamie’s past clubs include Watford, Oxford United, Peterborough United, Lincoln City and Luton Town.

Since Jamie’s retirement front the game he has built friendships and relationships with a variety of clubs throughout the UK.
