Martin Rowlands

Martin played professional football for 17 years

Played for QPR, Brentford, Colchester, Millwall, Leyton Orient, Wycombe Wanderers and Aldershot.

He also obtained 8 Republic of Ireland Caps at under 21 level.

And 5 Full International Caps so it is safe to say Football is a huge part of his life.

He was a primarily a Central Midfield Player but a very versatile player who played in most positions, and during this career played approx. 500 games as a professional.

During his time at QPR he was Club Captain and also Team Captain and also won a large number of Personal Awards.

He fought back from 2 career threatening injuries (ACL) which shows his absolute determination and love of the game.

He has always been admired by his fellow professionals and Managers as a hardworking and honest team player.
